We at Kelly's Animal Hospital offer a wide variety of services. This is a completely computerized state of the art facility, with 4 large exam rooms, digital radiography, a fully stocked pharmacy, an in house laboratory which allows us do do most bloodwork in house and have results in 30 minutes, a therapeutic KLaser system to treat pain, arthritis, inflammation and wound management., and a  dental suite for complete oral care. We have a 32 run kennel, separate boarding for dogs and cats, and a grooming salon. We carry Hill's, Royal Canin, and Purina Prescription diets. We have a retail area and carry assorted leashes combs, a full line of flea and tick products, and recently began carry Thundershirts for storm phobic dogs.

Dr. Kelly has been practicing in Port St. Lucie for over 25 years. His interests are in small animal medicine and surgery. He also treats pocket pets, wildlife and reptiles. Dr. Kelly performs surgeries 5 days a week. We use isoflurane anaesthesia and we require pre-anaesthetic bloodwork to be done prior to any surgical procedures. Our patients have IV catheters and fluids administered during surgical procedures and are monitored with pulse oximiters which monitor heart rate and oxygen saturation. 

We promote biannual visits and wellness checks. Pets age 7 times as fast as their owners and are very good at masking illness, so routine bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal checks, and blood pressure monitoring allows us to detect disease at its earlies and most treatble stage.

Dr. Kelly prides himself in client education. We have chalk boards in every room. He will go over any in house bloodwork with the owner and give them a copy of the bloodwork results with an explanation of what those results mean. An informed client is a better pet owner and the pet is the beneficiary. New puppy and kitten owners are explained everything from vaccination schedule, neuter/spay benefits, feeding regimens, flea and tick control, and housetraining. We have assembled a bound book containing an exhaustive list of articles and references pertaining to raising puupies and kittes. We provide this complimentary as part of the initial puppy/kitten exam.
